Long Wednesday

As all of them are.

I’m out of the house straight from 11am until up to 10pm. I sometime around 5, I rush home as fast as possible to get in my car so I can drive all the way down to Mission St. to get to work on time. I’m still figuring out a better route to avoid the awful left turn lanes of Mission St. I tried exiting Carrillo this time, but the seven blocks and traffic light risks just aren’t worth it.

After all that, I come back and have a section in the evening that is not the most enjoyable thing.

But I’m loving life a lot.

I’m realizing how good I have it. I have the opportunity to teach- I mean, that’s pretty cool. And I get a job where I get to help some great kids who really need help, and I get to teach social skills. At the same time, the job is pretty much hanging out at some times and it has other very nice factors. I live in a situation that allows me to easily meet-up with people and do anything. Also, I live with a dog. A dog.

I have little to complain about, and there’s not much more I could want. It’s sad how often we can forget that. Everyday, I get to do all the things I love, and I get to share the experiences with great people.
